FC 27 PC settings: presets, VRAM and a useful performance check
Understand the new PC options and use a repeatable setup check to separate graphics load, control problems and online delay.

THE SHORT ANSWER
Start with a preset suited to your hardware, watch the VRAM estimate, and test one change at a time. There is no universal settings list that guarantees a frame rate on every PC.
What changed on PC
EA adds Performance and Balanced presets, a VRAM usage estimate, redesigned WASD and arrow-key layouts, and Steam friend discovery through EA Connect. Enhanced Ultra Visuals are optional and disabled by default. These are configuration choices, not evidence that every machine will achieve the same result.
Build a repeatable baseline
Before changing anything, note your display resolution, refresh rate, graphics preset and the issue you are trying to improve. Try the same offline match conditions more than once. Keep the camera and settings consistent so the comparison means something. A screenshot of the starting settings makes it easier to undo an experiment later.
Use the VRAM indicator
The in-game indicator estimates maximum video-memory use as settings change. Treat it as a planning aid. If a change makes your experience worse, return to the previous preset, then adjust one option at a time. A higher visual setting is only useful if you prefer how the game feels with it enabled.
Separate stutter from online delay
First compare an offline session with an online one. If the offline experience is also uneven, focus your notes on graphics settings and the machine. If the problem appears only online, record the connection conditions and mode as well. This comparison narrows the question; it does not diagnose a specific hardware or network fault by itself.
Keyboard and friends setup
Choose one of the keyboard layouts before learning several matches of muscle memory. Review the bindings you use most often and change unfamiliar actions deliberately. For a group session, check the friends interface before the agreed start time so account setup does not consume the session.
What to include in a support request
Include your CPU, GPU, RAM, storage type, resolution, preset, game version and a clear description of when the problem occurs. Explain whether it happens offline, online or both, and list the changes you already tested. Never include passwords or account recovery codes. EA’s PC support page is the next stop for troubleshooting.
Sources and next steps
EA’s PC Deep Dive describes the options above. It specifies dual-channel memory and recommends SSD storage; use its hardware chart for the exact tier you are comparing. This guide is an editorial setup workflow, not a benchmark. Check FC 27 unlock times if you cannot access the game yet.
