Kairos is ruled by the Timekeeper. The campaign puts new Vault Hunters into a world of rival factions and rebellion.
Build around your Action Skill
Branching skill trees, character abilities and an extensive loot pool define progression. Double jumps, gliding, dodges and grappling add more ways to move during a fight.
Bring your squad
Online co-op supports four players, with level scaling and individual difficulty. Crossplay requires a SHiFT account. The exact experience also depends on your platform and connection.

A changing roster
The original roster includes Amon, Harlowe, Rafa and Vex. The official March 26, 2026 notes introduce C4SH through paid Story Pack 1, playable across the game. A list of four original hunters is not the complete current roster.
Skills and updates
The same update notes include character-specific adjustments for Harlowe, Rafa and Vex. When a guide recommends an interaction, compare its publication date with the support notes before investing heavily in the build.
Story content ownership
A new playable hunter can be tied to paid story content. Check your edition and add-on ownership before assuming every character shown in a video is part of your installation.
Troubleshooting changes
Official update notes document bug fixes alongside balance changes. They can explain why a skill, encounter or item no longer behaves exactly as an older walkthrough shows.
