Meet Atsu
Atsu is a mercenary pursuing six outlaws connected to her family’s death. Set centuries after Ghost of Tsushima, this is a standalone story in northern Japan.
Explore and develop your fighting style
Travel on foot or horseback, learn weapons from masters and discover optional activities. Melee and ranged tools give Atsu different ways to approach combat.
More than the original campaign
Legends offers co-op for two to four players, while New Game+ extends the solo campaign. Complete Edition, including Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted, is announced for October 1, 2026; those additions are upcoming at this September 15 review.

Atsu’s solo journey, Legends co-op and the announced Complete Edition are distinct experiences with different availability.
A standalone story
Atsu pursues the Yōtei Six in Ezo centuries after Ghost of Tsushima. You do not need to treat this as the next chapter of Jin Sakai’s personal story.
Legends with friends
Legends is a separate online co-op experience for two to four players, featuring supernatural versions of the Yōtei Six. It is not a way to turn Atsu’s main campaign into shared story co-op.
New Game+
After the story, New Game+ carries progress into a new run. PlayStation describes additional upgrades and Ghost Flowers for repeated objectives, along with replayable challenge content.
Complete Edition timing
The dated PlayStation announcement schedules Complete Edition for October 1, 2026, including Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted. They are upcoming as of this September 15 review, even though the product page already promotes them.
