THE SHORT ANSWER
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos lead GTA VI. Rockstar also profiles Cal Hampton, Brian Heder, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez and Raul Bautista.
Jason and Lucia
Jason has an Army background and works for drug runners in the Keys. Lucia leaves prison determined to change her circumstances. Their partnership sits at the center of the story.
The Keys connection
Brian Heder runs a smuggling operation and gives Jason a place to live in exchange for work. Cal Hampton is Jason’s friend and also associates with Brian.
The Vice City music connection
Boobie Ike’s businesses include a recording studio. He partners with Dre’Quan Priest at Only Raw Records. Bae-Luxe and Roxy perform as Real Dimez and are signed to that label.
Raul Bautista
Raul is an experienced bank robber looking for capable people willing to take risks. His profile introduces a criminal connection rather than a confirmed list of playable heists.
Use the cast as a viewing companion
When rewatching official footage, keep three separate notes: who appears, what the scene actually shows, and what question it leaves open. That makes it easier to follow a trailer without turning an impression into a plot fact. A character appearing beside another person does not, by itself, establish their relationship or eventual role.
Keep your first playthrough spoiler-light
This reference uses publisher introductions. If you want to preserve surprises, stop at those introductions and avoid plot-summary searches. Use the official screenshot gallery for visual context and the Leonida region guide for the setting. Neither requires a mission-by-mission story summary.
